Random weekend thought. It amazes me how many “influential” people in the US have supposedly informed opinions on China. Like so much in life today it is a topic that requires a ton of nuance while also being a topic that will have real world consequences over the coming decade.
And the opinions shared and amplified across all mediums almost always come from a base of confirmation bias. The hard truth about this “great power competition” is found right in the middle.
