Jesus said this in John 13
34 A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. 35 By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”
Jesus tells us to love and he has loved us. Jesus would let someone know if they needed to repent. Love does not mean letting a loved one go on sinning without warning them. This is not an easy thing to do. I am having a hard time with this myself. But since I care about people I will find a way to truly love them.
