True. I was using a different definition of "rules".
Most Christians would say Jesus was "righting the ship" of Judaism, not inventing something new, but I suppose in a world that loves to focus on sin, righteousness doesn't get much air time anyways.
FWIW they didn't kill him, they pissed him off. The end of the book makes that clear. PRO TIP: When trying to kill a God, you really have to make sure he's dead.
