I am beyond proud to announce that evento (nprofile…y4ua) is now an HRF (nprofile…rhxr) Bitcoin Development Fund grantee.
Evento is a not-for-profit, completely FREE events platform that anyone can use to organize events that bring communities together.
We’re leveraging freedom tech like #bitcoin and soon #nostr to ensure the platform is accessible to all.
Evento has already become the platform of choice for global conferences, bitdevs, bitcoin university clubs, hackathons, and so much more.
So, how will we use this grant?
✊ To support event organizers in the global south that educate their local communities on how Bitcoin, Nostr, and freedom tech can free them from oppression
🏗️ Build the most accessible events platform in the world specifically for educators, community leaders, nonprofits, activists and everyone in between
🧡💜 Integrate Nostr & build the first Bitcoin-powered ticketing platform in the world
We have so much more to build, and now thanks to HRF, we can innovate in a space that has exploited event hosts for far too long.
