I talked to someone yesterday who couldn't really believe that Trump would do anything bad when he wins, because he didn't really do anything bad last time.
There's a bit of human psychology in that, isn't there? You and I may think the US dodged the number of bullets last time, but a certain kind or class of person is going to think it was NBD.
Democrats will have to hammer the negative ads in September and October, and hope that enough people will *not* say "oh that again."
