I'm not seeing where this is 'grotesque horror', except perhaps to a business model based on preventing access to learning to most people in the world, and saddling most of the rest with five or six figure student loans.
I think if we oppose privatized higher ed (and I do, I do) it makes more sense to build public alternatives.
