Our Mission: Onboard as many people on the #Bitcoin Standard as possible
Our Strategy:
1. Short term: Quick Onboarding.
Make people accept Bitcoin as a means of payment that is faster than Credit Cards, and cheaper.
2. Medium term: Lightning Self Custody.
Quick onboarding comes at an expense, especially with Lightning. We want to empower users to take it a step further, without overcomplexifying things. Explaining self custody lightning is a challenge we foresee but it will be a must if users want to reduce custodial risk until a sufficient balance is accrued to move to cold storage.
3. Long term: Moving Funds to Cold Storage. Our hope is that folks that understand the benefits of #Bitcoin, they will begin taking serious measures to secure their funds. We will be there to provide best practices.
Currently out of scope for our strategy: Accounting and Tax Implications.
In the future it may be a path we explore, but currently the team is small and we do not have the expertise to provide guidance on this subject.
