"Not reading for 72 hours isn't easy...you'll be surprised how easy it becomes"
This is real. I do a 40+ hour fast for Tritium (Holy Thursday, Good Friday, Holy Saturday) each year, and each year it gets easier. At some point, I think I'm hoping to have to make it significantly longer if it is to remain a difficult and efficacious spiritual discipline. I've begun to feel just amazing some holy Saturday afternoon.
