Claude can now "directly analyze Excel files to pull data, evaluate formulas, recreate a formatted spreadsheet as an Artifact, and more," Anthropic says. While it could analyze CSV files before, checking Excel formulas is new.
Claude Sonnet 3.5 is probably my favorite all-around #LLM . I like its default response style, it think it's usually best at summarizing documents, and several experts I trust say it's best at writing R code.
