Harvested a radish to go with my breakfast. (Yes, I lightly wash it, eat the whole thing raw and call it lazy salad)

They have naturalised to my garden, self seed and keep coming back. 5th year and they've continued to be crisp and delicious even as the plant starts bolting.

Will you look at the tiny roots and the soil they pulled up? It's soft, crumbly and smells nice. Still blows my mind that I started with rocky, mostly reddish dirt devoid of organic matter.
