When I slept in my shed a few winters back “off-grid” I was heating with propane. A lot of single digit temperature days. I tried using an electric blanket + deep cycle batteries + 400W solar instead. I pretty much killed the batteries between the ~60W blanket and lighting by morning, but I was warm. Gross wet pillow though from condensation. An earthship design would have been best. It was like Hoth out there and I tried my panels vertical to help with snow and weirdly they charged about the same. Reflection off the snowy ground?
