I've had several past-life regressions, some of them spontaneously. One of them was in sign language class. There were three signs that triggered memories.
The first memory made no sense, as I had no other context. The second sign triggered new memories, but had the context of the previous one. By the third "flash of memories", the rest of the story unfolded.
