When I was growing up, the future was supposed to be moon bases, flying cars, and looking to an upper corner of a room and saying “Computer, could an ion storm create momentary contact with another universe and interchange me with my counterpart there?”
Instead it’s 2024 and what I’m hearing from the other room is:
“Customer service. No. No! Customer service. SPEAK! TO! HUMAN!“
