You having yolo-foo is very different from upstream catering to an individual's yolo whims.

Your needs, seem as if they're probably not for the good of the many; but having local branches for individual whatever is hardly uncommon.

Advocating that an upstream project can or should cater to every such thing is another ball of wax entirely.

Moreover, the entire concept of YOLO, at least to me; seems to fly in the face of a lot of others' lived experiences (meme attached for educational/entertainment purposes).
