Hmmm... so what do we make of #RachelReeves commitment not to scrap #inheritancetax relief on #farmland?
On one side; this should help #farmers keep family farms going across generations... which I'm sure will be popular with the rural community;
But, on the other when we know a third of farmland is bought by private investors (often to avoid IHT) we might have pause for thought.
However, as a mechanism of encouraging rural #Tories not to vote against Labour it has its attractions...
