There's a Buzzfeed listicle today about GenXers recalling questionable Boomer parenting, so I'll share one of mine: I do NOT remember this, but my mother says when I was a baby (less than a year old) I was in my father's care while she was working a shift at a Pizza Hut. She was about to serve a pizza when she saw my father riding down the street on his Harley--with me bungee-corded to the rear seat. Credit to my mother: she recognized the poor parenting, dropped the pizza, and ran after us.
