Oh, now I remember, I assumed Spoiler as in Plot Spoiler. Here's what I was referring to:
In the Water Temple there is this central room, which is one of the places where you can change the water level. When you raise the water, the block you're standing on rises up with you - leaving behind an opening that you can sink down to using the Iron Boots, and where you'll find a key. On the N64, you had to actually use your brain and have some spatial awareness, realizing the significance of that particular block floating up. On the 3DS, the camera goes out of its way to show you the opening provided by that block rising, making it embarrassingly obvious what you have to do next.
They also do this shit in the Forest Temple, the camera panning out in the opening room to show you that one treasure chest at the top of the trees. On the N64 you had to discover that on your own.
