I do that as well although I usually add some juice and pulp as well to boost the orange. \n\nOften some combination of warming spices such as a cinnamon stick, cloves, star anise, ... that are fished out when done. Juniper berries are a very interesting addition with a unique flavour. Not too many, they'll override the other flavours given a chance\n\nEither minced ginger or a crushed knob (yeah, whack it through the side of a nakiri 😀) that you fish out at the end are good as well",
