I resisted getting a mobile phone until it was impossible to function without one. Even now, I only use it as a camera and alarm clock. Incoming calls go mysteriously to voice mail, so I'm not even aware of them, and for outgoing calls I use a landline.
I've never understood why people allowed themselves to be trained to use an electronic leash.
