It's been a month since I left the job I'd grown to loathe.
I have enough savings for a while longer yet, so I'm not panicking about finding another job. I'm enjoying the time I have to write. I'm also doing a proofreading course, figuring it will help me a lot with my writing, if nothing else.
The things I no longer have:
-daily headaches
-daily nosebleeds
-insomnia
-Sundays riddled with anxiety
-fear every time my phone pings, at home.
-clashing egos to navigate
-a monthly pay cheque
