If deployed, at least 53% of the households in europe could go completely off-grid with solar power and storage.
Imagine, just full on no longer needing the mains input cable or gas, technically not needing utility contracts at all, could remove the cables entirely and it'd be fine.
Although I'd assume for winters you'd need some long term storage in a lot of cases, like the hydrogen storage they mention.
