The whole point is that those people are part of today's billionaires. It's not that they are less bad. Tax them out of existence!
The point is that there were more of them already back then, and the real increase was not 20-fold but more like 6-fold. If people think that distinction doesn't matter, fine, but then why bother with numbers at all, if we're going to go for a pure vibes argument?
