I’m not doubting that it could be true, I just haven’t seen actual evidence of it yet.
I have a very hard time believing that there wouldn’t be a police report, news story, social media testimonial or something specific.
Right now it’s just the guy at the public meeting making the claim.
To me it feels like one of those setups that makes people who fall for it look stupid.
The duck story seems plausible though.
