Not having watched TV in years, decades even – since I left my parents' home at 18 years old – it's quite the show to receive every year a letter from the #UK TV licensing scheme all but threatening me with thousands of pounds in fines if I don't purchase a license. Every time I say no, and then it tells me, many who say no actually need one, are you sure you don't want to be fined?
Who runs this aggressive racket? How can this system be endorsed by any public institution?
