It's the start of the school holidays this week, in the UK.
Amongst anything else, this means that all of your friends who are parents are now under, uh, "some pressure".
Whilst it is, of course*, lovely to have their little sproglings home all day, now is a good time to support your friends with kids who have now to deal with childcare on top of everything else.
Do their washing for them! Cook for them!
Basically, offer to help, if you can.
*note use of the rhetorical "of course", related back to my post the other day about how "of course" absolves you of the need to engage with the rest of that sentence.
