In S2:E9 of “The Bear,” Ebon-Moss Bacharach (✡️)’s character made me gasp out loud b/c he quoted #Vasudeva the ferryman from #Hesse:
“Listen better.”
I first read this at the age of 18. Ever since, I’ve spent my entire adult life trying to be more like Vasudeva.
To hear it quoted back at me, unexpectedly, was just incredible. Bacharach is a spectacular actor. The show is stunning.
