Good morning nostr!
Yesterday while looking at the JRE Reddit thread I noticed a familiar pattern that reminds me of the hive mind behavior of people. Some were weighing in on Terrence Howard conversation and concluding that he’s insane / schizophrenic. At the same time people wanted to discredit everything he said, downvoting correct statements in the process. It seems to be faulty wiring in some humans to think like the group instead of evaluating each statement on its own. Just because all this other stuff is incorrect, doesn’t mean it’s all incorrect. Sadly, this is the mental shortcut the masses take all too often. People like to pile in, to seek self-validation in their assessment.
I guess all I want to say is, don’t be these people. Evaluate all things independently.
Regarding the dude, yeah I felt like he might have lost his mind. He mixes some facts with a lot of imaginative fiction aka bullshit. Yet, we can acknowledge the parts he does get right and stay humble about not knowing how it all works.
This is my pre-coffee note so forgive any typos.
