It’s been almost 2 years since we put serious efforts into showing bitcoin to 10.000+ people on our local fair. General reactions we’ll never forget:
“You’re killing the planet”
“We only have debt, we can’t buy bitcoin. Later that person came back with a lot of useless stuff from the fair…”
“Why are you trying to scam people”
But also:
“Can you explain more about what you do”
“Can I buy some bitcoin”
“What are these devices doing”
And a lot of kids, interested in 3D printed shopping cart bitcoin coins.
Also hammering names in seedmint circles was well received. And people bought bitcoin flowers, not for bitcoin, but for old fashioned cash with a 100 year old cash register.
