There were people who saw these prank calls as peak trolling so I wouldn't be shocked if it influenced some of these types. \n\nAfter getting attention enough from people, it turned out that at least a few members had prior criminal records. The leader was never charged but he laid low when journalists began to visit his house irl asking for comments.\n\nThat's just one example but there were plenty of groups like that which would go to the borderline of too far, and so these discord zoomers would see them and would try to do worse shit for efame. Same with YouTube pranksters and the like too.",
