dat has outdated implementations in python, kotlin, c++ and some more, but no resources to maintain.
There is a rust implementation that is kind of up to date, but at the end it is a new runtime and it is javascript based, the language anyone knows basics of, no matter their background. And where that isnt enough, wasm might help.
It would be neat to support a lot more languages, but, at the moment JavaScript is where it's at and it probably wont change any time soon.
