We tried out simplex (npub1exv…d828) at #SovEng for group chats and DMs. It's one of those products you really *want* to like, but that is not there yet.
Some messages arrive eventually and are not properly timestamped, this creates a lot of confusion and frustration. DM'ing people often gets stuck in a connecting state forever (even when both devices are online).
I really hope they can fix this, for now, it's unusable.
