been thinking about how "English proficiency" is actually an average of reading, hearing, and thinking/speaking/writing
I'm really curious how many terminally online zoomies have overdeveloped read/write brain synapses but couldn't give a public speech or understand spoken word without subtitles. Surely there's a way to do a formalized study on this.
