If you're on Linux, and you have the correct drivers loaded, and your chipset is supported, it should show you counters, eg I think this is the right place:

```/sys/devices/system/edac/mc/mc0# cat ce_count
0
```

Hard to tell if it's actually working because mine's sitting at zero on both controllers since forever, but I'm pretty sure that's how.

This is on a very old Intel Xeon chipset, YMMV on something newer.
