A lot of our problems come from many years of not putting things away after we've used them, and developing backlogs of useful things we don't know we have and/or can't find.

I've got pretty damn good at putting shit away over the past decade, through ongoing conscious effort, but my partner doesn't have the resources to make that effort (chronic illness). I need to get better at checking in with him and putting things away after he's used them.
