It's the other way around. If companies stop making the stuff, the culture would change. We didn't sit around 2 generations ago and say, \"Gee, I've been throwing away glass containers for a long time. I wish they'd come up with something more polluting.\" This is how backward thinking policy makers try to make individuals responsible for systemic problems. It's ineffective and demoralizing.",
