yeah, i have three monitors and i've noticed i have to swing my head a lot more

oh well, i'm sure there is things you can do to reverse some of it anyway, in my case it's definitely muscular, it's more double vision than weak close vision, my eyes are not pulling inwards properly and there could be some part of visual cortex depth control that is also out of order, because even with glasses on objects that are extremely horizontal like a clothes line i can't get it in focus at 50cm distance without tilting my head and then *snap* it comes into focus, so my eyes are reacting slowly to depth cues which indicates that there is some role of 3d vision processing going wrong as well, though it could just be the muscles alone causing the visual cues to not trigger the right alignment

reminds me, as i look at the text over the top rim of the glasses just now that even just the photonic lensing that happens passing through holes and over edges of things, there is these funny glasses you can get that are like black plastic with thousands of little holes arrayed in them that are said to help for this kind of visual problem... when i look at the text over the edge of the rim it comes into convergence better and then the focus actually works, so, yeah, i'm pretty sure after a while of fixing my electrolytes and time for my kidneys to recover i will be back to not needing anything again, as it is, i still can actually read without them, it's just more challenging... i have 20/15 vision so in other words my brain can recognise and decipher text at 25% greater distance than average (and thus also scale) - i used to always be able to read the tiny text printed on money
