Found another little blacktail rattler tonight. Much bigger than the one last night, but still pretty small. It was off to the side of the road, so I didn't have to flick it off like the others last night.

So far, I have found all of these snakes annd the gecko after dark. So maybe I'm going out #BikeHerping too early? When I was doing this this spring, I would start at dusk and come back after dark but find plenty of snakes before dark as well.
