I’m always flattered that people like my creative work so much that they include it in their social media profile headers.

However, a polite request to do so, beforehand, wouldn’t go amiss.

Please remember that artists own the copyright of the creative work they post online, and in effect you are simply stealing their work.

The least you could do is credit the artist.
