i've just switched over to hosting my images on my VPS but it's a kinda expensive VPS, but on the other hand this seems to have meant that it doesn't get flagged as a dirty anonymous VPN so much (only cloudflare for some sites makes me captcha)

but i can add storage later, as it gets a bit more squashy on my main, wireguard tunneling VPS in bulgaria, for merely $3/month i can have 100gb of image storage and $14/month i can have a terabyte

the only reason i'm not bumping it now is really no need, i doubt i'm even gonna use 10gb of photo hosting in the next 3 months but when my main VPS gets to having a bit too much i'll switch over to the new one

maybe by then i'll have an option of using a blossom server with http endpoint and drop the files on it over SSH... or even a blossom/nostr mobile app

and yeah

getting so much problems between wireguard and the reverse tether i maybe foolishly purchased on play store

if i have WG on my pc and tetrd also, when i unplug the tetrd the wireguard DNS resolution breaks

if i have WG on the phone and the client side of the reverse tether, it doesn't see the wireguard from tetrd and this means i can't upload my images via ssh to my wireguard connection on the VPS

so,... there is now wifi in my house again, just for the phone, and just because fucking radio cartel makes the usb cartel not allowed to do mobile devices without radio

ah yes, i can probably make it turn it off when i'm not using it though (the phone i mean)
