I doubt the talk that Scotland would enter the EU on it's own or not made a massive difference in the referendum. If they wanted independence, they should have just asked the rest of the UK to hold a referendum on whether they should stay. Devolution has shown the Scottish people what an independence minded government looks like. Then there's the oil....
