NATO has been tightening the noose against Russia's neck of decades. Without the Western-backed coup against Yanukovych, Russia wouldn't even have taken back Crimea, let alone have ever started this war. I want to see a lasting peace deal where Russia keeps Crimea and much of Donbas, while Ukraine remains a sovereign country that nonetheless accepts that it forever belongs in Russia's sphere of influence. Ideally, Zelensky and the Muslim defense minister (who also no doubt enjoys sending White Christians to the deaths by the thousands) would also both end up being lynched in the streets of Kiev, or given the Ceausescu treatment after a fair trial.
Trump's actions suggest that he too envisions for a peace agreement somewhere along these lines.
