Of course they don’t give a fuck about you but if they have to bailout the FDIC, they will even if that happens to unfortunately not kill you (from their point of view), because ultimately they care about the system keeping a modicum of stability, that’s their job.

The fact that it’s obviously in favor of billionnaires and that they actually put that in the statutes is just an american peculiarity, but in the end it’s a central bank like any other.
