If I was killed in the street by some schizo I would hope my friends and family wouldn't insult my memory by insisting my killer was just some victim of a broken system. I would also hope that my death among many others would spark people into taking action against corrupt city leaders who force us to live around criminals instead of just blithely accepting it as part of life in a city. Crazy, I know.
