So Emmanuel Macron's claim that he could defend France from the Right of Marine LePen, has seemingly not gained much traction it seems ahead of today's French elections.
For many Macron's claim to the centre has been seen as increasingly threadbare, demonstrating (again) that to counter the far Right from the 'near right' does little more than normalise the Far Right & embolden people to vote for them....
The siren call of the Right to the Centerists has effectively destroyed them!
