I completely missed this post from the folks at #PostmarketOS finally announcing #systemd support.
I just so happen to have a new primary Android driver, so my loyal #OnePlus 6 can be used for all the Linux experiments without fears of losing access to my online banking or government apps.
systemd support means that I finally have a way to run all of my services on mobile without having to convert them into OpenRC scripts or using polyfills. And also that all Gnome/Plasma things can work without hammering too much the original scripts.
Since the article is from March, has there been any progress on getting systemd support merged upstream, or would I still have to use custom images? Any feedback from users who have tried it?
