It projects very human wants on non-human entities, and like much pop-scifi it tries not to think too deeply about a completely different mode of living/experience. Would AI on board autonomous robots potentially be dangerous? Of course! Because they will want to dominate the world like a 2 bit dictator in a Tom Clancy novel? Probably not.",
