Muting this thread for me because the notifications are too much. A couple quick notes:
1. I'm not saying that big tech companies make software poorly. I'm saying they make software designed to exploit you, they can get away with it, it sucks by design, and there's no alternative.
2. The monopolies affect you even if you enjoy their products & services, because who knows what alternatives (& what 3rd-party vendors) you might have enjoyed, which don't have a chance to exist under their "rule".
