I want to say this: To ‘adapt’ to #ClimateChange is, ultimately, to forget… to become complacent and compliant. Though we are forced to adapt by one #ClimateEmergency after another, we must focus on what we had, and what we need, really need to preserve. Mass extinction events are on the way. The #ClimateCrisis will prompt massive migrations as portions of the planet become unlivable due to heat and sea level rise decimates vast heavily settled coastal regions. #GlobalWarming is progressing apace, and it appears there does not exist the political will to do anything substantial about it. I don’t want to adapt, I want the process reversed.
