This is how I compost in bins. The #compost is always covered with cardboard and a lid. The compost is always secured and there is no unwanted pest.

There are a few worms in those bins that make the process go faster. It is not a hot compost it stays cold.

To feed the worms I use the edges method and wrap some food scraps into some paper and bury it in one side of the bin.

Then I feed this to my worm farm. If I want more compost I get more bins.
