When the big fires hit, power and cell service went down for a WEEK in a large region with about a million people.
A region where fires move so fast people often get NO evacuation warnings.
How else is anyone supposed to communicate, figure out where is safe to go, or anything at all without radio??
I want to learn and get a license myself.
